Facade Design to bring in an inside-out experience for the residents.

Stensor was part of the Facade Design for this project in collaboration with DesignGraph Studio, Bangalore.

Being an apartment building, the challenge with this project was the monotonous built structure, which had its own restrictions to play with massing and form creation for the apartment. The main focus of the facade design was to create a sense of privacy while bringing in an inside-out experience for the residents with the use of balconies overlooking the road. We have used a vertical grill system to create a sense of scale to the building and provide privacy to the space. The entire facade is held together with a vertical wall running all through the building and also provides privacy to the residents from the neighboring buildings.
